However you got here, our response is the same:

We look forward to getting to know you, listening to your story, and helping you build something you may have been chasing for a long time: confidence in the cockpit, skill in the airplane, and a flying life that actually fits who you are.

Volatus is built for those who want more than just flight time in a logbook. We are built for people who want to become aviators.

There are a lot of places that can teach you how to pass a check ride. And sure, that matters. Standards matter. Discipline matters. Doing things the right way matters. But to build a pilot that is capable, thoughtful, and truly prepared, you need more than a syllabus.

You need people who pay attention.

That’s what we do best.

We listen to where you want to go.

Then we get to work.

Pretty simple. And it works.

We do not believe great flight training is about pushing everyone through the same pipeline in the same way. We believe it should be tailored, intentional, and personal. Because flying is personal. The way you learn is personal. And the standards you hold in the cockpit should be high enough to last a lifetime.

That is why we work exclusively with Cirrus and why we take such pride in creating a boutique training experience around it. Volatus is Northeast Ohio’s only Cirrus training center, based at Akron-Canton Airport, with Cirrus-focused programs and a personalized approach to training.

As for the why?

Well, sometimes you start doing something and realize you were never meant to stop.

Maybe you know that feeling.
